Over the years, we have developed two retail media players: Classic and Deluxe. The Classic model is a cost-effective option supporting up to an 18.5-inch video screen with a display resolution of 1366x768 pixels, commonly known as 720P. The Deluxe model, on the other hand, offers a 1080P resolution. Since 2017, we have introduced "seamless play" for the 720P Classic series. This feature has been highly appreciated by our retail integration clients for its enhanced advertising value and superior user experience.
Through more than seven years of understanding user requirements, we have identified that the best user experience encompasses every step of the user journey. These steps include:
1. Device booting up
2. Auto video loop transition
3. Stand-by mode video/playlist switch
4. In-play switch
In the 720P version, a visible black frame appears during video transitions when a shopper presses the push button to switch videos. The ideal user experience involves minimizing or eliminating delays and black frames in these four steps.
Today, we proudly introduce the PREMIUM version of our retail media player, which addresses these concerns. As shown in the following table, the PREMIUM version offers the following features:
- Booting up within 1.5 seconds
- Seamless video loop transition
- 1.5-second stand-by switch
- Zero-second in-play switch with no black frames
This makes it the ultimate retail media player. We will apply this technology to both our battery-driven and AC adapter-powered versions.
